This backlit denunciation images are characterized by the use of backlighting, an aesthetic choice that goes beyond simple visual effect. In these photographs, light is often relegated to the margins, enveloping human figures in a dense, layered darkness. This play of light and shadow is not accidental: I use this contrast to highlight the tension between the dignity of traditional work and the inhumane conditions that too often accompany it. These photographs do not simply capture everyday fishing scenes, but transform them into a visual narrative.
