Explore My Pictures of Morocco: From Landscapes to Culture

Since my first stay in Morocco, I have not stopped travelling the country to take pictures documenting social life, buildings and landscapes. The close link that exists between Morocco and my country, Senegal, makes me very interested in the culture that shows the influence of black Africa.

Historically, the two countries have had a very sincere and close religious relationship. Still nowadays in Morocco there is a strong Senegalese community. Morocco is one of the countries whose architecture fascinates me. The Hassan II Mosque is just one example. I have an ongoing research to produce a documentary addressing the problems of migration, its causes and consequences. Morocco remains a country coveted by migrants, many of these migrants find a reason to stay because the quality of life is better than where they come from. The call center sector alone employs more than 40,000 migrants, and the trade sector is also heavily dominated by migrants.
